So I thought it would be nice to know something more about what is behind the site: right below there is the interview, enjoy it!

Tati: When did you decide to open VPV? And how has it grown since its birth?
Jenny: Me and my husband opened VPV in the beginning of 2008. It’s grow over the past few years from selling exclusively on eBay to now having our own web store and our brand being carried in boutique’s throughout Central Florida: a really big growth!


Tati: VPV is about Vintage. How did you discover your passion for vintage? Is there anybody who transmit it to you?
Jenny: My Grandma Holland’s was always dressed to the nine’s and I guess I gain inspiration from her: she defenitely transmit to me passion for vintage. Sure miss her too.


Tati: What does it mean vintage to you?
Jenny: In my opinion vintage is a great way for unique self expression: it’s a lifestyle.


Tati: Every item you sell is unique. Where do you find all these wonderful pieces?
Jenny: We are fortunate to have multiple great sources for finding amazing one of a kind vintage pieces. We have no shortage of great vintage pieces. We just need a bigger warehouse!

Tati: Quando hai deciso di aprire VPV? E come è cresciuto dalla sua nascita?
Jenny: Io e mio marito abbiamo aperto VPV all’inizio del 2008. E’ cresciuto molto negli ultimi anni e siamo passati dal vendere esclusivamente su eBay all’avere il nostro sito web e il nostro brand viene venduto nelle boutique della Florida centrale: davvero una grande crescita!


Tati: VPV parla di vintage. Come hai scoperto la passione per il vintage? C’è qualcuno che te l’ha trasmessa?
Jenny: Mia nonna vestiva abiti del 900 e credo di aver preso ispirazione da lei: è stata proprio a lei a trasmettermi la passione per il vintage. Ovviamente mi manca molto.


Tati: Che cosa significa per te vintage?
Jenny: Per me vintage è un fantastico modo per esprimersi in maniera unica: è uno stile di vita.


Tati: Ogni pezzo che vendi è unico. Dove trovi i tuoi bellissimi articoli?
Jenny: Siamo fortunati: abbiamo diverse risorse dalle quali prendiamo pezzi rari. Non abbiamo difficoltà a reperirne: avremmo però bisogno di un magazzino più grande!
